Nike Community Impact Fund

The Nike Community Impact Fund (NCIF) benefits communities where our employees live, work and play. These employee-led grants support local, grassroots organizations that get kids moving, because we know that active kids do better. And when kids have an opportunity to fall in love with play and sport, they’re more likely to reach their full potential both on — and off — the court.

United States

In partnership with the Charities Aid Foundation of America, retail employees from Nike Community Stores in Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, New Orleans, New York City and Washington, D.C. — and employees from the Nike North America Logistics Center in Memphis — award grants to local nonprofits and schools that help kids unleash their potential through play and sport. This year, each city’s NCIF will award up to $50,000 in one-year grants, ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 each.

In Portland, Ore., our World Headquarters’ backyard, employees will award a total of $550,000 in grants, ranging from $5,000 to $20,000 each, to local organizations that make a positive impact through play, sport and other community-based initiatives across the metro area.

EUROPE

In partnership with the King Baudouin Foundation, one-year grants are awarded to local organizations that are making a positive impact through play, sport and other community-based initiatives in the key cities and communities where our employees live and work across Europe, in cities like Barcelona, Milan and Belgium. This year, in Belgium, home to our European Logistics center in Laakdal, we’re awarding grants from €2,000 to €7,000; and in the Netherlands, home to our European Headquarters in Hilversum, we’re awarding grants from €5,000 to €20,000.
